Oisín Nolan

Director of Public Relations

Oisín leads our engagement with investors and governments. He brings a background in agricultural policy and European affairs. He previously worked for GFI Europe, the European Commission, and Dentons Global Advisors.

Director of Research

Aashish leads our research on alternative animal feed in collaboration with businesses and scientists. He brings an academic background in the life sciences, experience in non-profit strategy and is a director at Cellular Agriculture UK.

Communications Manager

Pari drives our communications efforts, focusing on impact, sustainability, and innovation. She brings a decade of expertise in impact communications, specializing in sustainability and innovation. She’s worked with UNICEF, Greenpeace, and MII.

Dr. Margaret Hegwood

Corporate Engagement Manager

Margaret manages our corporate engagement strategy. She brings a decade of experience spanning research, policy, and advisory roles, with previous positions at the WWF, USDA, and FAO. She holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado.

Rachel Juel

Research Fellow

Rachel supports our research, and specializes in the environmental and health benefits of novel feed ingredients. With a planetary health background, she has contributed to work with the FAO, LSHTM, UCL, and the UK’s CCC.

Our Story

The way we produce animal feed is putting immense pressure on the environment. Climate change, deforestation, overfishing, and loss of biodiversity are all threatening the supply of key feed ingredients. Without sustainable alternatives, these challenges will continue to worsen, putting both food security and ecosystems at risk.

The future of food depends on finding new, sustainable ways to feed animals. We founded The Centre for Feed Innovation in 2024 with the mission to accelerate the development of novel feed ingredients that are sustainable, scalable, and safe. This transition is essential for protecting our oceans, forests, and wildlife, ensuring that future generations can benefit from a safe food supply and healthy ecosystems.
